Touriga Nacional/Touriga Franca/Tinta Barroca/Tinta Roriz.
Grapes are harvested, to 20 Kg boxes, at its optimal ripeness
intending to show a vigorous maturity, leading to higher aromatic
and polyphenolic concentrations. After fully stalked and crushed,
grapes are fermented in Inox, with temperature control.
Made from a rigorous selection of wines aged in wooden barrels,
is russet in color with a combination of a fragrant ripe - fruit bouquet,
fig and rutty flavors. Its smooth, silky texture and subtle oak nuances
are balanced by a fresh acidity that culminates in a sweet, elegant
and long finish.
Alcohol (%vol) - 19.5%.
Total Acidity (tartaric acid) - 4.89 g/dm3.
Volatile Acidity Fixed (acetic acid) - 0.53 g/dm3.
pH - 3.34.
Should be served, 10 minutes before, at a
temperature of 17ºC.
