ADRO Da Sé 2009 - Reserva - DÃO - 2009 - 75cl - Red Wine
Soil: Granite, clay and limestone formation.
Grape stocks: Touriga Nacional/Alfrocheiro Preto/Tinta Roriz/Jaen.
Type: Traditional Dão, classic vinification.
Fermentation: At a controlled temperature of up to 28ºC. for 5 to 6 days.
Aging: 4 years in stainless steel vats, 10 months in French Allier Fino followed by the aging process in the bottle, and 5 months in the bottle.
Colour: Of deep ruby colour.
Tonality: Shows soft tinge of dark red.
Aroma: Elegant and rich with a bouquet of fully ripened red fruits matching well with traces of cinnamon and other spices.
Flavour: Velvety, with a good tannin structure. A persistent in - mouth intense sensation characteristic of its long tradition.
This wine is ready to drink but can be kept for another 15 years.
Alcoholic content: 13.5% Vol.
Volatile acidity: 0.50 g/l.
Dry extract: 32.50 g/l.
Residual Sugar: 3.90 g/l.
Type of Plantation: Density 3500 to 4000 plants per hectare.
Type of Pruning: Single and Double curtain, and Guyot.
Yield per hectare (ton./ha): 6 tonnes of grapes per hectare.
