Grape Varieties:
50% Viosinho/50% Rabigato.
Origin:
This wine was made from Viosinho e Rabigato vineyard coming
from our best plots located in Meda region in the Douro Superior
at about 550 meters high.
Vinification:
Partially fermented in French Oak barrels, with lees aging and
stirring for six months. Second fermentation in the bottle by the
classic “méthod champenoise”.
Tasting Notes:
With clear and citrine color, good perlage. Fruity, complex and
intense aroma. With a well - balanced acidity, long and persistent
finish on the palate.
Analysis:
Alcohol (%vol) - 11.06%.
Total Acidity (tartaric acid) - 7.35 g/dm3.
Volatile Acidity Fixed (acetic acid) - 0.26 g/dm3.
pH - 3.19.
Service:
Should be served at a temperature of 8°C / 10°C.
